Allocating Medical Staffing

This is a summary of a project for a medical staffing agency that works with The CDC to provide temporary workers to clinics and hospitals on an as-needed basis. The project aims to plan for influenza season, a time when additional staff are in high demand, by examining trends in influenza and proactively planning for staffing needs across the country. The project will cover all hospitals in each of the 50 states of the United States and will focus on determining when to send staff and how many to each state. The analyst will need technical and soft skills to distill business requirements into questions, source and curate data, analyze the data, draw conclusions, and present insights to stakeholders in an easily consumable format.
